MONKEYS
Making
lists, according to one or several criteria; age, origin, value, beauty or
originality, is a famous pass-time of the “leisure class”. Like the two Greek
brothers, who picked out the “7 wonders of the World”, or the famous “Guinness
Book of Records”, where people compete in recordbreaking attempts to get as much
people in a car. Making lists of “The 10 best of” is, like in Ancient Greece,
still very popular.
I must
warn you for a perceptual trap. Paintings don't move.
