Tesla's medium of change was alternate current to begin with, later on he claimed to tap free energy from the atmosphere, which could be used to power giant laserbeams, to destroy rockets and airplanes with evil intent or even manipulate the weather.

In 1943, when he died in a hotel in New York, the rumour goes, that FBI-agents stripped the room from all notes, diaries and books. From that moment Tesla's heritage is officially missing.

Fact is that the military owns, through a middle-man, patents based on Tesla's research and are used to develop weaponry, even for use in space.
