FOLLOWING
THE MONKEY-PATH
It
is God's will.
There
is always something going on.
Life
has become the ultimate distraction. We are entertained with sports,
music, entertainment, games, cultural or historical events,
demonstrations and, at the moment, preparing a running dinner for
Christmas. We are seduced to buy expensive gifts, prepare luxury
dinners with the correct wines. and decorate the in- and exterior of
your house.
A
growing river of information is produced by science, filosophy and
religion. Our life-expectancy is growing, through progression and
innovation in medicine and genetics. If you have a job and or
children, this means more pressure and more input to manage. Climate
change and global warming are more and more visible and effecting
day-to-day life. Hurricanes and tornadoes are more and more frequent
and destroy whole social systems, from the USA to the Philipines.
It
was unheard of, that in my country, the Netherlands, people had to
move, because of earthquakes. Now it is a reality. So will be the
earthquakes, because the gas-production still goes on.
With
all this distraction, you will understand, that thinking about Syria
is minimal. Researching the context is hardly done, the main players
and future goals stay in the background and are secret. Hidden in
plain sight.
Following
the Monkey-path means, that you have to make that step into this
world of research, contemplation and study. Leave all the wordly
obsessions and passions behind and focus on our path.
Our
battle will be personal from now on.
