Master:
“Norman Shelley is a British citizen, who played a very important
role in boosting the morale of the English during World War 2. He
contributed highly by radio-broadcasts to a determined and inspired
spirit of the Allies, citizens as well military. Even so, nobody has
heard of him, during or after the war. The glory went to others.”
Student:
“Master, how is this possible. The British love war-heroes.”
Master:
“Norman Shelley was a personal assistant of Winston Churchill. Why?
He could mimmick the voice of the British prime-minister very well.
Usefull.
Yes, very. Sir Winston Churchill was an alcoholic. After 5 o'clock in
the afternoon, he was intoxicated and unable to play a role in
public.
Many
of the speeches Sir Winston held and who were broadcasted by radio,
came from the mouth of Shelley. Even the famous one, in which
Churchill announced that England would never surrender and keep on
fighting. Sir Winston Churchill got all the credits for his inspiring
role and it contributed highly to his role as a war-time and
victorious statesman and to the admiration in England and on the
continent. Churchill had body-doubles too, so had Adolf Hitler.”
Student:
“Thank you, Master.”
